This was my first visit to Banaras. And I chose this hotel by reading online reviews. Below is what I would like to add to whats already said about this place.
Positives:

* Good location. Very near to the ghat. Easy 5-min walk. If you are visiting Banaras to visit the ghats then this is a good place.
* Friendly staff: Very friendly staff. Courteous and helpful.
* Clean: Two things that I look for in a hotel is a good bed, clean room, and a neat bathroom. This place meets these requirements.
* Food in the restaurant is decent.

Negatives:

* No view: There is no view from the room. There are other hotels that have a view of the ghats from their rooms or balconies. If you want to see the ghats in late night or early mornings then other hotels might be a better choice.
* The location gets very crowded during festivals - especially the godhoulia chouk. The cars and autos are not allowed to enter and reaching or leaving from the hotel can get hard. The hotel helps you out by arranging rickshaws though.
* Some might find the rooms a bit smaller, but they are not too small. Also that was not my main concern. As I stayed in hotel only for shower and sleep.
