We ended up at this hotel by default as the hotel we had originally booked cancelled and we had to make hurried last minute arrangements. How glad we were that we did as Hotel Vibhavharsh was excellent. we were a group of 6 friends and each and every one of us was extremely happy with our stay. The location is fantastic, only about 10 mins walk to Dashashwamedh Ghat where the evening Aarti ceremony is held and a short rickshaw ride to the burning Ghat.
The hotel organised a pick up from the airport which was very reasonably priced, check in was quick and efficient and the rooms were all extremely clean spacious and comfortable. all the staff we encountered were efficient and friendly. They organised a sunrise boat trip on the ganges which was amazing and also a boat from which to view the aarti.
Breakfast which was included in the price was good. We ate in the restaurant on both nights and after some problems with the service on the first night we were pleased with the quality of the food and the choice available.
The hotel has a wonderful roof terrace for relaxing in following a hectic day sightseeing in the amazing city of Varanasi.
We were all extremely impressed with the hotel and the very professional service we received.
Would certainly return should we be back in Varanasi and would highly recommend for anyone looking for a clean comfortable and extremely good value hotel in a fantastic location.
